The Bowen Island ferry known as "The Queen of Capilano" does regular scheduled runs 7 days a week. Leaving from the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal it carries both walk-on passengers and vehicles. The 20 minute crossing takes you to Snug Cove which is also the main shopping and business area of the island. When you purchase a ticket it is automatically for a round trip excursion. The close proximity to the mainland makes for a perfect island get-away destination.
